Last Friday the adidas Group together with its TaylorMade-adidas Golf business segment announced the successful completion of the acquisition of Adams Golf. But TaylorMade-adidas Golf has recently been for other reasons in the press, too: one of them being that it recently gained market shares while the golf-industry’s business has been rather stagnant for years. In addition to that TaylorMade adidas Golf posted not only 2011 record sales of over 1.0 billion Euro but had also a fast start into 2012 with sales increasing 32% currency-neutral.

In an interview with “utsandiego.com”, Mark King, Chief Executive of TaylorMade-adidas Golf, explains amongst other things what Adams Golf brings to the table, what led to TaylorMade-adidas Golf’s market share gains and what the future of golf will look like.     just read on the advertising board at the Germany Portugal game: adidas is all in. Do they know it means adidas is finished? You’d think adidas would have someone who speaks English on the team.
